DAY 01

PLACE OF ORIGIN – LIMA 

Arrival at scheduled time. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02

LIMA – CUSCO (CITY TOUR)

Transfer from hotel in Lima to the airport. Arrival in Cusco, transfer to the hotel and briefing. In the afternoon we will enjoy a walking City tour of Cusco.

DAY 03

SACRED VALLEY TOUR

After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and we will start the tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we will go back to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 04: INCA TRAIL 01

CUSCO – PISCACUCHO – HUAYLLABAMBA

Pick up from hotel at 6am and departure from Cusco towards the Sacred Valley making a brief stop in Ollantaytambo to supply with the latest products that we need. From this point we will leave towards Piscacucho (km82), to then ascend and finally see, from the top of an overlook, the impressive Inca Citadel Llactapata (8692ft). A continuation, we will set up our first camp where we will enjoy spectacular views of the mountain range Vilcanota, with the impressive Veronica peak 19133ft and a diversity of flora and fauna.

DAY 05: INCA TRAIL O2

HUAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSCA – PACAYMAYU

We will start the day very early and after a hearty breakfast, we will continue our walk. During this ascent the landscape will change from sierra to puna (a dry and high area with little vegetation). We will pass by the Abra de Warmihuañusca (dead woman’s pass – 13776ft), here we can see domesticated llamas and alpacas grazing in the bunch grass, one of the few plants that grow at high altitudes. After lunch we will descend into the valley Pacaymayu (11808ft), where we will camp after 7 hours of walk and where we will enjoy dinner and rest.

DAY 06: INCA TRAIL 03

PACAYMAYU – CHAQ’ICOCHA – WIÑAYWAYNA 

After a nutritious breakfast we will start the most impressive and interesting day because of the several archaeological sites and lush forest area of clouds that we will cross, so rich in Andean flora and fauna. We will continue climbing to the second pass, the Abra Runkurakay (13022ft) and the archeological complex of the same name. Later we will descend to reach Sayacmarca (11887ft) and Phuyupatamarca (12136ft) both archeological complexes. After lunch we will visit the ruins of Wiñaywayna (8692ft), where we will spend the last night of our walk.

DAY 07: INCA TRAIL 04

WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

On the final day of our trek, after a breakfast early in the morning, we will start the final leg of our walk to the lost city of Machu Picchu. First we will climb the Intipunku (Sun Gate) where we can have a stunning inspiring sunrise and panoramic view of the citadel of Machu Picchu. From here we will descend to enjoy a guided tour of the sanctuary. After the tour, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we will enjoy some time before returning to Cusco by train.

DAY 08

CUSCO FREE 

We will have the day free to perform various personal activities and visit different typical markets and museums in the city. At night we will attend a traditional dances show.

DAY 09

CUSCO – LIMA (CITY TOUR)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Domestic flight to Lima. Arrived in the capital and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will enjoy a city tour.

DAY 10

LIMA – PLACE OF DESTINATION

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight back to place of origin.
