DAY 01

PLACE OF ORIGIN – LIMA

Arrival at scheduled time. Reception at the airport and then transfer and accommodation at the hotel, bottle of champagne in your room.

DAY 02

LIMA (CITY TOUR)

After breakfast at hotel we will enjoy a city tour visiting the historical center: Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, Cathedral, City Hall, Convent Church of San Francisco, etc. Modern Lima: the tour continues through the more traditional residential areas: El Olivar de San Isidro, Central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar, ended with a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Optional: dinner at Cala Restaurant with amazaing views of the sea.

DAY 03

LIMA – CUSCO (CITY TOUR)

Transfer from Lima hotel to the airport where we will take the flight to Cusco. In the afternoon we will have a city tour in Cusco and we will visit the main tourist areas in the city, such as, the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, different traditional streets, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Also we will visit Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay and finally Pucapucara. Optional: dinner at Map Café.

DAY 04

CUSCO – PISAQ – URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO

After breakfast at hotel we will begin our tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we will have brief stops to take pictures of cultural elements and landscapes on our way to Pisaq. We will stop at the viewpoints of Qorao – Taray where we will have a fantastic view of the valley and Willcamayu river. Once in Pisac we will appreciate the colorful village and we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex. Continuing our journey we will get to Urubamba where we will enjoy our buffet lunch. After that we will head to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo where the urban planning is purely Inca. There we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo: religious, astronomical and military complex where we will see how the ancient Incas moved 60 metric tons heavy stone blocks from one mountain to another. Transfer to our selected hotel.

DAY 05

CHINCHEROS – MARAS – MORAY – SALINERAS

Early in the morning we will start our tour visitng the ancient town of Chinchero which is famous for its textiles. Then we will continue our tour towards Maras, where we will find pre-Hispanic, colonial and republican period structures. Also we will visit the salt mines where we can appreciate the natural salt extraction. Finally we will visit Moray archaeological site with unique agricultural circular platforms with their respective irrigation channels, important center of acclimatization and hybridization of wild plant species for human consumption. Optional: Horseback riding.

DAY 06

SACRED VALLEY – MACHU PICCHU

After breakfast, early in the morning we will go to the station to board the train heading to the town of Machupicchu. Pick up at the train station and then we will board our bus to the Sacred Citadel of Machu Picchu (travel time approx. 25 minutes). Once we get to the Inca Citadel we will have a guided tour visiting main attractions, streets, plazas, ceremonial centers and stairways. Optional hike to the mountain of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain. After that we will return to the village where we will enjoy a buffet lunch and we will have the rest of the afternoon free for personal activities: relax in the hot springs, hike around the village, etc.

DAY 07

MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

After breakfast we will board our train back to Cusco and we will enjoy the fantastic trip with the scenic beauty of the place. Once in Cusco, transfer to our hotel and in the evening we will attend to a traditional dances show, where we will appreciate the art and customs expressed in varied repertoire.

DAY 08

CUSCO – LIMA

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for our flight to Lima. Here we will visit bohemian district of Barranco and the Colonial Arte Museum of Pedro de Osma, with its valuable collection of paintings and sculptures. Lunch at “La Rosa Nautica”, located on the pier No. 4 in the district of Miraflores; is an elegant Victorian-style restaurant that offers the most complete selection of Peruvian and international cuisine as well as a sophisticated bar on the banks of the Peruvian Pacific. All this combined with an incomparable view and peace that can only be found where infinity begins. After lunch, transfer to the airport. Assistance in the international departure flight.

OPTIONAL:
Celebrate a mystical union in the city of the Incas. This special ceremony hosted by a shaman (Andean priest), performed in the beautiful Llaullipata Reserve, 15 minutes from the city of Cusco. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, you can celebrate your wedding or vow renewal through an offering to the Apus (Mountain Spirits), representing the masculine side and Pacha Mama (Mother Earth) representing women.
